Moretec offers pocket wafers, also known as wafer adapter, designed to enable the processing of smaller substrates or wafers on existing equipment. For example, 4" wafer can be processed on 8" equipment.
Our pocket wafers are primarily made from monocrystalline standard silicon wafers, quartz and ceramics.
Typically, we offer 12″ wafer with options for 8″, 6″, or 4″ pocket. Similarly, our 8″ wafer come with 6″ or 4″ pocket, 6″ wafers with 4″ pocket.
We also provide custom designs to meet your specific requirements for pocket size and shape.
